Note: This position could be based in Delhi or Mumbai. The Corporation is pursuing a dynamic growth strategy which requires the recruitment of a Human Resources Analyst to work with HR Client Services in Asia IFC s HR Client Services are part of the Central Human Resources and Administration Department (CHR). HR Account Managers are the Business Partners to their assigned client departments; the Human Resources Analyst will partner very closely with the HR Account managers and the HR program assistants to support staff/managers in a number of Client Departments. Along with the HR Account Managers, the HR Analyst will be the first point of contact for staff/managers for HR related questions. The Human Resources Analyst will also be a part of the HR Analytics team.

Duties and Accountabilities:
  • Provide support and interventions to clients' teams as required by the team's work program;
  • Handle HR related staff queries in a prompt manner;
  • In collaboration with the relevant Human resources Account Manager provide guidance to staff on career development, and compensation and benefits related questions;
  • Develop a strong understanding of the rationale underlying HR policies to guide clients in the interpretation of such policies & procedures;
  • In partnership with the HR Analytics team, provide regular HR reports using the existing HR information systems
  • Along with the Recruitment Unit, partner with clients to provide recruitment services, i.e. monitor the recruitment process, participate in interviews and provide other support as required to facilitate recruitment;
  • Work with managers to ensure proper on-boarding of new staff, as defined by the regional on-boarding process; conduct periodic feedback interviews to ensure that on-boarding goals are met;
  • Assist and oversee appropriate and timely compliance of the annual evaluation, merit, promotion, and talent review processes;
  • Contribute to corporate HR deliverables and provide back-up for other HR analysts in the team
  • Responsible for pulling ad-hoc data requests for client service teams and preparing data for client management presentations.
  • Responsible for preparing data and analysis for strategic staffing conversations with assigned clients
  • Using developed templates, tools and systems to manage HR processes, such as performance management, talent management, recruitment, onboarding etc with client teams
  • Work within the analytics network to ensure consistency across regions and clients with HR definitions and processes
Selection Criteria:
  • Master's degree (preferred) or undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline (i.e. human resources, management, behavioral sciences, business, public sector management or other related field ) and a minimum of 1-2 years of entry level professional HR experience; . Solid knowledge of core HR areas: compensation/benefits; learning and training; performance management, career development and staffing and recruitment. . Previous experience as generalist or in the compensation and benefits area is preferred;
  • Solid research / analytical skills;
  • Willingness to “roll-up sleeves” and flexibility to engage in all aspects of HR work, from identification of issues and design of policies and programs to implementation;
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a particular focus on ability to present well-reasoned analyses, findings and recommendations;
  • Excellent team skills, willingness to collaborate and share knowledge with colleagues and clients at all levels;
  • Track record of the highest level of integrity and ability to respect confidentiality is essential;
  • A positive attitude and a high degree of initiative;
  • Proven ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and attend to details while maintaining an overview of HR priorities;
  • Ability to create trusting working relationships/partnerships within and across units.
